How Do I Remove a Virus?

Option 1: Automatic Repair (Novice User)

  1. Download SpeedyPC Pro.
  2. Install program and click Scan.
  3. Wait approximately 2 minutes while spyware is scanned for and removed.
  4. Restart your computer.
  5. Your computer should now be running normal again.

Option 2: Manual Removal (Advanced Users)

  1. Print out this page.
  2. Disconnect your computer from the internet.
  3. Go to the Control Panel and find Add/Remove Programs.
  4. Find the unwanted programs that are causing problems and click Remove on each one.
  5. Restart your computer.
  6. Open your Windows Registry and remove any corrupt "keys" using RegEdit. (NOTE: If you are not comfortable editing your registry, use the recommended registry cleaner).
  7. Restart your computer.
  8. Run your frequently used programsto check if problems still exist.
  9. If your problems are gone, you have successfully removed the malware infection.
